Isabelle White Overstreet, 77 of Bedford, passed away Monday, October 21, 2013 at Oakwood Health & Rehab. Center. She was born on Saturday, December 14, 1935 in Lynchburg, a daughter of the late Herbert Colon Overstreet and Bessie Updike Overstreet. She was also preceded in death by her brothers, Ray Bernard Overstreet, Rudolph Guy Overstreet, Cecil C. Overstreet & Melvin Ray Overstreet and her sisters, Lucille O. Robertson, Gladys O. Laing & Mable O. Hawkins. She was a member of Quaker Baptist Church. She is survived by several nieces & nephews. Funeral services will be held at the graveside at Quaker Baptist Church Cemetery on Thursday, October 24, 2013 at 11:00 am with Rev. Wayne Murphy & Rev. David Timma officiating. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 6 until 8 PM at Updike Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Bedford.
