Marcella Owens Wright, 45 of Huddleston, passed away Monday, December 2, 2013 at her residence. She was born on Tuesday, May 21, 1968 in Bedford, a daughter of Pastor Kenneth Hallin Owens and Valarie Stump Owens of Bedford. She was a member of the Church of the Great Shepherd. In addition to her father & mother, she is survived by her husband, Shawn Alexander Wright; a daughter, Daisy Ferguson of Moneta; a son, Ira Wiseman of Marmet, WV; two sisters, Melissa Owens of Bedford, Monica Wilson of Franklin Co.; a brother, Randy Owens of Bedford. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, December 5, 2013 at 2:00 pm at the Church of the Great Shepherd with Pastor Kenneth Lafon officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 6 until 8 PM at Updike Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Bedford.
