This is my favorite memory about Uncle Charles. Dad (Joe) and Uncle Charles were driving around with some of us kids with them. Some teens, who thought they were cool, decided to tease Dad and Charles. I think there was some hollering at them and the teens got very verbal. Dad and Uncle Charles decided to take the teens up on the challenge to pull over and take them on. Dad and Charles were very fit/buff, so everyone pulled over, got out of their cars. The teens took one look at Dad and Charles, and jumped back into their car and drove off very quickly. Charles and Dad returned to the car laughing. Mom said later "you could have gotten someone killed". I still can see the amusing expressions on Dad and Uncle Charles's faces.
