William Marvin McGhee, 62 of Bedford, passed away Wednesday, January 22, 2014 at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital. He was born on Thursday, June 14, 1951 in Bedford Co., a son of the late Henry McGhee and Lorraine Holdren McGhee. Surviving is his son, Shay McGhee & wife, Jennifer of California, two step-daughters, Sherry Shockey & husband, Garnet of South Carolina, Kimberly Painter & husband, John of Huddleston, six grandchildren, three great grandchildren; a brother, Ray McGhee of Moneta and a niece & several nephews. Arrangements are being handled by Updike Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Bedford.
