Mildred Maddox Bragg, 80 of Huddleston, VA passed away Thursday, July 22, 2010 at Centra Lynchburg General Hospital. She was born on Monday, July 14, 1930 in Naruna, a daughter of the late Wesley Maddox and Mae Harper Maddox. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Lewis Jackson Bragg; her infant daughter, Vickie Leigh Bragg; a brother, John Winston Maddox and a sister, Louise Maddox Connelly. She was a retired employee of General Electric, was a member of Huddleston Community Church and attended Bethesda United Methodist Church. Surviving is her son, John Wesley Bragg of Chesapeake; daughter, Debra Lynn Bragg, Huddleston; two sisters, Rachel Gallup & husband, Robert of Seattle, WA, Mary Ann Clark & husband, Arthur of Lynchburg; brother-in-law, Gray Connelly of Gladys; two sisters-in-law, Lois Bragg of Huddleston, Marion Bragg of Arrington. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, August 14, 2010 at 3:00 PM at Bethesda United Methodist Church with Tammy Franklin officiating. Arrangements are being handled by Updike Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Huddleston.
