Shawn Alexander Wright, 47 of Huddleston, passed away Sunday, March 30, 2014 at his residence. He was born on Wednesday, January 18, 1967 in Charleston, WV, a son of Lewis Alexander Wright of Bedford who survives and the late Patricia Ann Persinger Wright. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Valarie Marcella Owens Wright. He was owner & operator of Serenity Solutions Landscaping and was a veteran of the U. S. Army having served in Desert Storm. In addition to his father, he is survived by two brothers, Brian Wright of Swampscott, MA, Lewis Dean Wright & wife, Rebecca of Huddleston. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, April 3, 2014 at 2:00 PM at Updike Funeral Chapel, Bedford with Pastor Kevin L. King, Sr. officiating. Interment will follow in the Palestine Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 6 until 8 PM at Updike Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Bedford.
