Eula Frances Brown Coles, 75 of Bedford, passed away Friday, April 25, 2014 at her residence. She was born on Monday, March 27, 1939 in Bedford County, a daughter of the late John Paul "Buddy" Brown and Mabel Frances Flood Brown. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Isreal Dennis Coles. She was retired as a bus driver with Bedford County Public School and was a member of Otterville Baptist Church. Surviving are her sons, William Coles & wife, Cheryl, Donald Coles & wife, Janice, Michael Coles & wife, Joyce all of Bedford; two daughters, Connie Coles of Lynchburg, Ramona Gay Coles of Bedford; three sisters, Helen Coles of Lynchburg, Geraldine Spinner of Goode, Gloria Brown of Bedford; two brothers, James Brown of Bedford, Charles Brown of Verona; a devoted grandson, Isaiah Coles of Bedford; a devoted granddaughter, Natasha Parker of Bedford as well as nine grandchildren & three great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, April 30, 2014 at 2 PM at Otterville Baptist Church with Rev. M. D. Mays officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Friends may call Tuesday after 12 noon and the family will receive friends from 6 until 8 PM at Updike Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Bedford.
