Great men and great scholars are not as abundant as you might hope. Doctor Brooks was both and I was fortunate to know him. The Doc understood that there is enjoyment to be had in the sharing and passing down of hard earned knowledge. His instruction benefited me personally and professionally. It was my pleasure and good fortune to have had the opportunity to learn from him.
Dad will forever be remembered for his whit, humor, and love of pizza. Dad knew everybody in the entire county of Bedford and probably had a story about them as well. He will continue to live in our hearts for eternity.
