Ida Belle Overstreet Overstreet, 86 of Thaxton, passed away Friday, May 30, 2014 at Bedford County Nursing Home. She was born on Tuesday, September 27, 1927 in Bedford County, a daughter of the late Arthur Overstreet and Cora Overstreet Overstreet. She was also preceded in death by her first husband, Albert H. Massey, two sons, Thomas Massey, Danny Massey and a daughter, Mary Roach. She was retired from Bedford County Memorial Hospital. Surviving is her husband, Floyd L. Overstreet; her sons, Tim, Michael, Larry & Roger Massey; her daughter, Doris M. Thompson; six grandchildren & seven great grandchildren including Kyleigh & Sage Jarels, her greatest loves as well as a special son, Mike Malloy. A memorial service will be held on Monday, June 2, 2014 at 11:00 am at Mountain View Union Church, 1121 Miller Lane, Bedford, VA with Rev. Bob Sowder officiating. Arrangements are being handled by Updike Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Bedford.
