Amy Jane Roach, 66 of Bedford County and most recently of Gretna, passed away Saturday, August 23, 2014 at her residence. She was born on Friday, October 24, 1947 in Bedford County, a daughter of the late Junior Pearl Roach and Frances Wright Roach. She was also preceded in death by three brothers, Billy Roach, Roy Roach & Roger Krantz. Surviving are her sons, David Barbour, Kenneth L. Durham, Sr., Billy Joe Barbour; her grandson, Kenneth L. Durham, Jr.; her granddaughter, Dixie Cox; brothers, Jerry Roach & wife, Joyce, Johnny Roach & wife, Debbie, James Roach; sisters, Kathy Lennon, Judy Baboun, Sandra Compton, Lucille Myers & sisters-in-law, Linda Roach & Rosie Krantz. Funeral services will be held at the graveside at the Roach Family Cemetery on Tuesday, August 26, 2014 at 11:00 am with Rev. Wayne Murphy officiating. Friends may call Monday after 12 noon and the family will receive friends from 6 until 8 PM at Updike Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Huddleston.
