Obituary of Robert Mack Bryant

Robert Mack Bryant, 76 of Bedford, passed away Friday, October 17, 2014 at Oakwood Health & Rehab. Center. He was born on Wednesday, July 20, 1938 in Bedford County, a son of the late Roy Mack Bryant and Marion Erselle Noell Bryant. He was a retired boilermaker with Richmond Engineers and was a member of Center Point United Methodist Church. Surviving is his wife, Rachael Mae Craig Bryant; a son, Robert M. Bryant, Jr. & wife, Tracey; three grandchildren, Kaylee, Kenzie & Karli Bryant; his beloved niece, Tammy R. Love; his sister, Norma B. Powers. The family requests those wishing to make memorials to consider Center Point United Methodist Church, 1116 Panorama Lane, Bedford, VA 24523. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, October 21, 2014 at 12 noon at Timber Ridge Baptist Church with Pastor William Clark & Rev. Phillip Kelley officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday from 6 until 8 PM at Updike Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Bedford.
