Obituary of Bonnie Carol Dooley

Bonnie Carol Dooley, 62 of Montvale, passed away Thursday, March 12, 2015 at Centra Bedford Memorial Hospital. She was born on Sunday, September 14, 1952 in Roanoke, a daughter of Vivian Katherine Giles Walker of Blue Ridge who survives and the late James Roy Walker. She was a retired LPN having worked at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital and most recently at Woodhaven Nursing Home. In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband, Mark Dooley; her daughters, Amy Denise Dooley of Blue Ridge, Lindsay Dooley Bass & husband, Shane of Bedford; her son, Christopher Mark Dooley & wife, Cinnamon of Montvale; her grandchildren, Jocelyn Marie Dooley, Catelyn Marie Dooley, Lleyton Aubrey Cook, Ella Marie Bass, Abigail Joy Bass; a brother, Barry Walker of Blue Ridge as well as a sister, Barbara W. Bramlett of Montvale. Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 16, 2015 at 11:00 am at Walnut Grove Union Church with Rev. Bob Auxier & Rev. David Whitehurst officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday from 3 until 5 PM at Updike Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Bedford.
