Nancy Martin Toms, 66 of Goode, passed away Friday, March 13, 2015 at her residence.
She was born on Monday, May 10, 1948 in Hampton, a daughter of the late John Wayne Martin and Phyllis Rae Truslow Martin. She was a retired employee of Gunnoe and was a member of Mt. Hermon Baptist Church.
Surviving is her husband, Ralph Wayne Toms; her daughters, Lisa Marie Toms of Vinton, Althea Dawn Blankenship of Bedford; her son, Richard Wayne Toms of Lynchburg; her brother, Terry Martin of Asheboro, NC as well as five grandchildren & six great grandchildren.
The family requests those wishing to make memorials to consider Carilion Hospice of Bedford, P. O. Box 688, Bedford, VA 24523.
Funeral services will be held at the graveside at Greenwood Cemetery on Monday, March 16, 2015 at 11:00 am at with Rev. Wayne Murphy officiating. There is no visitation. Arrangements are being handled by Updike Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Bedford.
