Susan and Carl, I was saddened by the passing of your mom. She was the first one Glenn called when his mom died, and she came down to be with him until I could get there. I know that whole scenario was very hard for her for many reasons. I'm sorry I didn't know her well, but I knew enough to know that she had a good heart if only because of her willingness to help others like she did Ms. Overstreet. She will always hold a special place in our hearts.

Carl and Susan, we are sad for the loss of your mom, but we can be happy that she lived a nice long life. I will always reminder her when she visited Granny Nichols' house on Sunday afternoons. She was the last of a generation and will be missed along with her brothers and sisters that passed before her. Growing up around all those aunts and uncles was a wonderful time that I will never forget. Aunt Faye; rest in peace.

Thoughts and prayers during the loss of Mrs. Stevens. I use to work with her many years ago at Leggett on Main in Altavista. In more recent years, I would see her from time to time at The Medicine Shoppe in Altavista. Again, so sorry to hear of her passing.

Aunt Faye was one of the kindest, sweetest people you ever met and I was proud to be her niece. She always had a sparkle in her eye and loved life. Her and mom had a lot of good times later in life. She was a fantastic dancer & was so light on her feet. Aunt Faye was a strong Christian just like Granny Nichols. Rest in peace.

"Miss Faye" was always so kind and attentive to all of her "Leggett" customers. That relationship became a lifetime friendship for me. She was a very special and dear lady.... and for all those who knew her like I did.......a "cat bird".. she was always so friendly and joyful. I am sorry to hear of her passing and send my deepest sympathy and prayers to the family.

Aunt Faye was a very nice lady.
She was the last of a generation of Luther and Eve Nichols' children. (Some would say the greatest generation.)
Faye & mom had a lot of fun together in their later years, enjoying life.
Rest in peace.
