Richard Ray Brown, 70 of Huddleston, passed away Sunday, April 26, 2015 at his residence.
He was born on Monday, January 15, 1945 in Logan County, WV, a son of the late Edward Red Brown and Ruby Christine Laferty Brown. He was also preceded in death by a son, Delbert Lee Brown, a brother, Fred Brown, Clell Brown; sisters, Glenda Farley, Margie Browning, Jean Hubbard.
He is survived by his wife, Gloria Jean Fowler Brown; his daughters, Ruby Brown & Timothy Glass, Donna Brown, both of Huddleston, Twyla Brown of Rock Island, IL; his son, Richie Ray Brown & wife, Sarah of Davin, WV; children, Jaden, Jada & Kylen Brown of Huddleston; brothers, Hubert Maynard & wife, Melvia of WV, Butch Brown & wife, Pansy of Greenup, KY, Lavy Brown of Pioneer, OH, Mark Brown of Davin, WV; sisters, Midge Buza & husband, Joel of Illinois, Darlene Tiller & husband, John of Davin, WV as well as seventeen grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren and several nieces & nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, April 29, 2015 at 1:00 pm at the family residence, 1578 Old Firetrail Road, Huddleston with officiating. Interment will follow in Brown Family Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Wednesday from 10:30 am until 1:00 pm at the residence. Arrangements are being handled by Updike Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Huddleston.
