Travis Basile Roy Summers, 44 of Crab Orchard, WV passed away Wednesday, May 7, 2014. He was born on Sunday, February 22, 1970 in Beckley, WV, a son of Donna Richardson Rowe & husband, Jack of Crab Orchard, WV and Basile Summers & wife, Libbie Brumfield Summers of Beckley, WV.
Travis attended Cornerstone Freewill Baptist Church. He had a fun loving and adventurous spirit & loved spending time with his family and friends. His daughter, Happy, was his pride and joy. Travis never met a stranger and was always the first to lend a helping hand to anyone who needed it. Travis was greatly loved and will be terribly missed by everyone who knew and loved him.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Kellie Summers; daughter, Happy Summers; step-son, Justin Richmond & companion, Samantha Garretson & their daughter, Laila of Grandview, WV ; sisters, Michelle Summers Witt & husband, Frank of Bedford, VA, Julie Rowe of Beckley, WV, Mollie Holley & husband, Darren of Alkol, WV; brothers, Jimmy Rowe & wife, Jennifer of Nashua, NH, Matthew Beckett & wife, Jennifer of West Hamlin, WV, eight nieces, two nephews, one great nephew, one great niece, and countless friends.
A celebration of Travis' life will be held on Sunday, May 17, 2015 at 12:30 pm at Cornerstone Freewill Baptist Church, Crab Orchard, WV with Pastor Kelly Bowman officiating.
