Our family has lost a very good friend. Dennis was a wonderful man - one of the best - and he will be missed by many people. He was such a great next-door neighbor to my mother, Virginia Ford, and my sister, Betty Ford Hampton. When my wife and I came to Bedford from California, we always looked forward to our visits from Dennis. Such a gracious and encouraging person! We will all-the-more treasure the pens he made himself and gave to us, and will long remember his delicious cornbread and other food he'd bring over for special occasions. May God comfort and encourage all of Dennis' family and friends in this time of sorrow and loss. But remember, our loss is heaven's gain! And we know he is safe and happy in the arms of Jesus.
