Francis Marion Rieley, 66, of Montvale passed away Tuesday, September 28, 2010 at Bedford Memorial Hospital. He was born on Tuesday, April 4, 1944 in Bedford County, a son of the late John A. Rieley Sr. and Lois McManaway Rieley. He was a retired Pipe Fitter at N.S. Railroad and was a member the Blue Ridge Church of the Brethern . Surviving are his wife, Jean Overstreet Rieley of Montvale, two daughters Abbie Rieley Vita & husband, Dominic of Enfield, CT, Marian Rieley Pumagualle & husband, Fabricio of Lynchburg; a granddaughter, Isabella Rieley Pumagualle; two brothers, John A. Rieley Jr., Walter E. Rieley & wife Alma, all of Thaxton and his beloved family pets, Nuggie, Sketchie & Daisy. Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 1, 2010 at 1:00 PM at the Updike Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Johnny Basham officiating. Interment will follow in Montvale Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday, September 30, 2010 from 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm. at the funeral home. Arrangements are being handled by Updike Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Bedford
