Robert Austin Ferry, Jr., 75 of Bedford, passed away Sunday, October 25, 2015 at Centra Bedford Memorial Hospital. He was born on Tuesday, March 26, 1940 in Pittsburgh, PA, a son of the late Robert A. Ferry, Sr. and Evelyn Wark Ferry.
He was a retired salesman with C.R.I. Sales and was a member of Morgans Baptist Church where he was Elder & Deacon.
He is survived by his wife, Bettie Bailey Ferry; three sons, Robert D. Ferry of Maryland, David Ferry of Pittsburgh, PA; a daughter, Diane Ferry of Pittsburgh, PA; a step-son, Tim McCune of Charlotte, NC; a step-daughter, Sally Biggers of Black Mountain, NC; one granddaughter, five grandsons, one great granddaughter as well as his brother, James Ferry of Sarasota, FL.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 5, 2015 at 2 PM at Morgans Baptist Church. The family will receive friends beginning at 1:30 PM at the church. Arrangements are being handled by Updike Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Bedford
