Kevin Neal Carper, 80 of Moneta, passed away Thursday, November 5, 2015 at the Bedford County Nursing Home. He was born on Thursday, January 10, 1935 in Brookneal, a son of the late Russell Bell Carper and Georgia Elmo Lewis Carper.
He is survived by his son, Kevin Eugene Carper & wife, Laura of Elliston; his daughters, Sylvia Carper Barbour of Nathalie, Pam Carper Carter of Bristol, TN, Tammy Lynn Carper of Roxboro, NC, Krista Carper Calhoun & husband, Jeremiah of Moneta as well as eleven grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 7, 2015 at 2:00 pm at Updike Funeral Chapel, Bedford with Pastor Chris Dowd officiating.
The family will receive friends beginning at 1 PM and until the time of the service at Updike Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Bedford.
