Obituary of Moorman Lee Reynolds

Moorman Lee Reynolds, 79 of Moneta passed away Saturday, November 14, 2015 at Centra Lynchburg General Hospital. He was born on Thursday, July 23, 1936 in Bedford County, a son of the late Edward Douglas "Doug" Reynolds and Flossie Reynolds Burroughs. He was a longtime employee of Piedmont Label, now Smyth Company in Bedford for over 40 years. He loved working on machinery, repairing electronics and helping people and he will be dearly missed by his family and friends. He was also a U. S. Navy veteran. Those left to cherish his memories are his brother, Roy A. Reynolds & wife, Wanda of Moneta; niece, Kim Reynolds Bolling & husband, Tommy; nephew, Troy Reynolds; great nieces, Brittany Bolling, Brandy Bolling; great nephew, Aaron Bolling and a special friend, Patricia Smallwood. The family would like to send a huge "thank you" to Lynchburg General Hospital, the doctors and their nursing staff on the medical ICU unit as well as the Moneta Lifesaving Crew over many years and the volunteers that have served and currently serve the Moneta community. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 18, 2015 at 11 AM at Morgans Baptist Church with Rev. Rick Mallory officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 4 until 7 PM at Updike Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Bedford.
