Etta Patterson Tuck, 97 of Moneta, passed away Friday, January 8, 2016 at Centra Lynchburg General Hospital. She was born on Tuesday, November 19, 1918 in Bedford County, a daughter of the late Frank Deboe Patterson and Ora West Patterson. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Lathan Herman Tuck, a son Howard E. Tuck, two sisters, Rachael P. Patterson, Lillian P. Dalton and a grandson, Ricky E. Tuck. She was a member of Radford Baptist Church. She is survived by her son, Richard T. Tuck & wife, Linda of Bedford; her daughter, Dorothy T. Payne & husband, Wallace of Bedford; her daughter-in-law, Laverne Tuck of Hurt as well as five grandchildren & seven great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Monday, January 11, 2016 at 2:00 pm at Radford Baptist Church with Rev. Jim Booth, Rev. Karl Hofheinz & Rev. Kevin Payne officiating. Interment will follow in Radford Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday from 3 until 5 PM at Updike Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Bedford.
