Irma Howery Taylor, 83 of Cross Lanes, WV and formerly of Huddleston passed away Sunday, February 28, 2016 at Angel Avenue Assisted Living Center in Bell, West Virginia. She was born on Friday, May 6, 1932 in Chesapeake, WV a daughter of the late David Howery and Ora Lambert Howery. She was also preceded in death by husband, Melvin Otherine Taylor.
She is survived by her sons, Melvin "Mo" Taylor, II of Diamond, WV, Larry Taylor of Cross Lanes, WV; nine grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 3, 2016 at 2:00 pm at the graveside at Bethlehem Baptist Church Cemetery, Evington with Pastor Chuck Williams officiating. Arrangements are being handled by Updike Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Huddleston.
