Glen and I call each other every 3 or 4 months.
I just tried to call him today and found his number was disconnected.
Glen and I were in World War II together and served in the same gun section and maintained communication all these years.
He was my closest soldier buddy and we discussed life events over the years.
I will always cherish his friendship and will miss him dearly.
My thoughts and prayers are with him and his entire family.

I don't remember Mr. Hicks from Thrasher UMC, however I have known Joan most of my life. She is a woman and friend whom I have admired always. The way her parents raised her is a testament to them every day. What a man he must have been!

I am so sorry to hear of Glenn 's passing. I will not be able to attend the funeral because I am in Baltimore with my mom who just had rotator cuff surgery. If there is anything I can do please let me know?
