Leo George, Sr., 87 of Moneta, passed away Tuesday, June 7, 2016 at his residence. He was born on Tuesday, May 14, 1929 in Philadelphia, PA, a son of the late Millet George and Christine Valerio George. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Theresa DeFoe George.
He was a retired from sales and was a veteran of the U. S. Air Force.
He is survived by his sons, Joseph George of Sacramento, CA, Leo George, Jr. of Moneta, Charles George of Lititz, PA, David George of Ephrata, PA as well as 7 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren.
Mr. George was transported from Updike Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Bedford to the Stradling Funeral Home in Ephrata, PA where funeral service will be held. Local arrangements are being handled by Updike Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Bedford.
