Christine Cundiff, 76 of Bedford, passed away Thursday, September 2, 2010 at Bedford Memorial Hospital. She was born on Friday, August 31, 1934 in Bedford County, a daughter of the late William Christopher Cundiff and Mary Samuel Cundiff Cundiff. She was an employee of Longwood Insustries. Surviving is her brother, Doyle A. Cundiff of Bedford; a sister, Monnie C. Bobbitt of Bedford; her very special companion, Roy M. Overstreet of Bedford as well as one niece and three nephews. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, September 5, 2010 at 2:00 PM at Updike Funeral Chapel, Bedford with Rev. Ray Lyons and Rev. Dr. Eldridge Cullum officiating. Interment will follow in Leftwich Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday from 1 until 2 PM at Updike Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Bedford.
