Naomi Ann Benson Hess, 68 of Bedford, went to be with her Heavenly Father on Wednesday, July 27, 2016. She was born on Tuesday, February 24, 1948 in Greencastle, IN, a daughter of the late Oliver H. Benson & Sylvia Mildred Cohen Benson.
She was a member of Word of Life Evangelical Church, Bedford.
She is survived by her husband, Calvin C. Hess; her sons, Christopher S. Hess of Oakton, Ronald Hess & his wife, Lisa Jewel Bouldin Hess; her grandchildren, Sabrina Jewel Hess, Logan Michael Hess, Autumn Elizabeth Hess & Justine N. Hess; her older sister, Andrea G. (Orazco) Wertz of IN and her younger brother, George H. Benson & wife, Donna & their three sons, Chris, Russell & Brady & their wives & children & one daughter, Rebecca & her two children.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Word of Life Evangelical Church or Bedford Pregnancy Center.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, July 31, 2016 at 1 PM at Word of Life Evangelical Church with Rev. David Whitehurst officiating. There will be no visitation.
Arrangements are being handled by Updike Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Bedford.
