Terri Elaine Draper LaClair, 59 of Huddleston, passed away Sunday, August 7, 2016 at her residence. She was born on April 29, 1957 in Albion, NY, a daughter of the late James C. Draper and Gwendolyn Wright Draper. She was a staff nurse at Village Family Physicians, a member at Staunton Baptist Church and a volunteer at the Agape Center.
She is survived by her husband, Larry M. LaClair; two sons, Justin LaClair & Trevor LaClair, both of Moneta; a sister, Susan Miller, Hurrricane, WV; a granddaughter, Jillian Baird and two adopted granddaughters, Madelyn King and Madelyn Smith.
The family requests that those wishing to make memorials consider the SPCA of Rocky Mount, 18401 Virgil H. Goode Highway, Rocky Mount, VA 24151.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, August 11, 2016 beginning at 2 PM and a funeral service will follow at 4 PM at Updike Funeral Chapel, Bedford with Rev. Grant Harbridge officiating.
Arrangements are being handled by Updike Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Bedford.
