Tina Dawn Price, 35 of Bedford, passed away Sunday, August 28, 2016 at her residence after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born on Friday, March 13, 1981 in Lynchburg, a daughter of Jerry Wayne Price and Kathy Dinkle Price of Bedford who survive. She was a Customer Service Rep. at Interim Health Care.
In addition to her father & mother, she is survived by her daughter, Alana Brianne Price of Roanoke; her sister, Tammy Goode & husband, Jamie of Moneta; her maternal grandmother, Dean Dinkle of Moneta; her favorite nephew, Tyler Goode & nieces, Haley & Hannah Goode.
Special thanks to Margaret Turner, Interim Health Care, Dr. William Fintel and Good Samaritan Hospice for their loving care of Tina during her illness.
The family requests those wishing to make memorials to consider a donation in her name to Union First Market Bank in Moneta.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, August 31, 2016 at Updike Funeral Chapel, Bedford with Rev. Ben Lockart & Rev.Jason Arthur officiating. Interment will follow in Palestine Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday, August 30, 2016 from 3 until 5 and 6 until 8 PM at Updike Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Bedford.
