Betty Harris Arthur, 76 of Bedford, passed away Monday, August 29, 2016 at Bedford County Nursing Home. She was born on Sunday, May 19, 1940 in Bedford County, a daughter of the late Loyd Harris and Cary Zimmerman Harris. She was a member of Mt. Olivet Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband, Dennis Rowland Arthur; her son, Michael Arthur & wife, Susan, brother, Edward Harris of Wilmington, NC.
There will be no services and arrangements are being handled by Updike Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Bedford.
