Terissia (Love) Carter, 85 of Bedford, passed away Saturday, September 17, 2016. She was born on Thursday, August 27, 1931 a daughter of the late Albert Melvin Dooley and Gladys Welch Dooley. She was also preceded in death by her husband, George Carter.
She is survived by a "special" son, David Shannon Caldwell, a "special" Nephew, Earl W. Dooley, Jr., and a great nephew, Braeden Earl Dooley. Other survivors include nieces, Jane (Jimmy) Overstreet, Susan (Woodrow) Amos, Debra Dooley, Marilyn Lafferty, Loretta Barbaglia and Faye Hild.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, September 21, 2016 at 1:00 pm at Updike Funeral Chapel, Bedford with Rev. Harry Stevens officiating. The family will receive friends from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm prior to the service. Interment will follow in Dooley Family Cemetery.
