Norman Lee Corbett, Jr., 78 of Huddleston and Virginia Beach, passed away on Wednesday, September 14, 2016 surrounded by his family. He was born in Goldsboro, NC, a son of the late Norman Lee Corbett, Sr. and Nellie Mae Derr Corbett. He was preceded in death by his sisters, Norma Cubilla and Peggy Reynolds.
He was a partner in Norfolk Engraving for forty years. He loved his farm in Bedford County and his beloved terrier, Fiona. He traveled the world with his wife and lived his retirement to the fullest.
He is survived by his wife, Charlotte Weymouth Corbett; two daughters, Carol (Gary) Hughes, Cynthia (Chuck) Armory; eight grandchildren, Christopher (Kerry), Whitney (Bryan) Jones and Sarah Hughes, Charles, Ian, Lauren, Alexander and Matthew Armory; four great granddaughters as well as several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 on Saturday, October 22, 2016 at Updike Funeral Chapel, 11351 Leesville Road (Route 43 South) Huddleston with Rev. Wayne Murphy officiating.
