For this one special farmer, Carroll Paige Graves, otherwise known as "C. P.", his worries are over. God called him to his heavenly home on Saturday, October 22, 2016 at the age of 85. You can now lay down and rest your head. Your labor is done, your home is now heaven. Your legacy will live on, your love of the land, and we will now close the gate.
There will be a graveside service to honor the memory of C. P. at 2 PM on Tuesday, October 25, 2016 at the Patmos United Methodist Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers or to honor C. P., please make a contribution to the Patmos Cemetery Fund. Monetary donations may be sent to Kenneth Howell at P. O. Box 37, Huddleston, VA 24104.
Arrangements are being handled by Updike Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Bedford.
