Betty Ferguson Rowland, 66 of Moneta, passed away Sunday, November 21, 2010 at her residence. She was born on Wednesday, August 16, 1944 in Franklin Co., a daughter of the late John Thomas Ferguson and Mary Frances Johnson Ferguson. She was also preceded in death by a step-son, Harry Rowland. She was employed by Walmart and was a member of Radford Baptist Church. Surviving is her daughter, Chalet Davis & husband, Timothy of Greenville, SC; a step-son, Randy Rowland & wife, Jamie of Bedford; a step-daughter, Oneida Eddy & husband, Calvin of Bedford; six grandchildren, Thomas Davis, Bailey Davis; Donovan Rowland, Jordan Rowland, Megan Rowland and Tiffany Eddy. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, November 24, 2010 at 1:00 PM at Updike Funeral Chapel, Bedford with Rev. Rich Hart officiating. Interment will be private. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 6 until 8 PM at Updike Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Bedford
