Lucille Hackworth Tuck, 77 of Brookneal, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, January 17, 2017. She was born on Friday, September 15, 1939 in Bedford County, a daughter of the late Samuel Thomas Hackworth and Claire Witt Hackworth of Huddleston, VA. She was also preceded in death by an infant son, Chuckie Lay Tuck.
She is survived by her daughter, Vickie Tuck Moore of Forest; her son, Todd Tuck of Wilmington, NC; her granddaughter, Opal Corell of Forest; her
grandson, Andrew Moore of Altavista; sisters, June Musgrove of Bedford, Debra Overstreet of Roanoke; brother, Billy Hackworth of GA as well as six great grandchildren.
Lucille will be sadly missed by all of her family; she enjoyed life to the fullest.
The family will receive friends beginning at 1 PM on Saturday, January 21, 2017 at Updike Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Huddleston and a celebration of her life will follow at 2PM in the chapel with Rev. Wayne Murphy officiating.
Arrangements are being handled by Updike Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Huddleston.
