I never met Doug personally even though he provided all of our AutoCad work for almost 17 years, possibly longer. What I do know is that Doug was incredibly professional, organized, efficient, friendly and reliable. We had no idea of his health problems as he never mentioned anything and never allowed it to interfere with his professionalism. It is times like this however, when one discovers that a human being with whom you worked with and perhaps emailed on a weekly if not daily basis, how they could be facing such extreme and adverse struggles and not know of their plight. My heart aches to know that the price of professional relationship was to be so distant from the humanity and struggles of the human being. I can only hope that Doug knew how respected he was and how highly we all thought of him. We offer our sincere prayers to his wife and 2 sons in this time of such loss. We will all miss Doug. May he rest in peace.

Doug was so loved by many!! He had family and friends drive from near and far to pay there last respects to him. You will be so missed by so many. So relieved you are not in anymore pain. May you fly high and watch over everyone until we meet again. Love you brother!!

Doug was always a kind and gentle person. You were the light of his life, I will never forget how he would always send you anniversary flowers, one dozen roses for several weeks. I have never meet a man who was so wonderfully sweet and caring. The day's ahead won't be easy, but your heart will mend it time.
