To the family of Shirley Dean,
I just learned of her passing this morning, September 25th. Shirley and my mother, Katherine Nichols Wood, were best friends all of their lives and went to school together at Huddleston High School. She meant the world to my mother, who passed away on March 17, 2012. I knew her for a long time and watched her and my mother get ready to go to dances, out to eat, etc. She was a wonderful person and a wonderful friend to my mother.
I am praying for all of your family.
