I am truly saddened. I just learned of Shirley''s demise. To Jim and the family, I am so very sorry for your loss. I loved her too. The discussions we had during my teens changed the trajectory of my life - for this I will be eternally grateful.

I remember being on a bus trip with you and Mrs. McCabe and observing the care you gave her.

My sincere condolences to the McCabe Family.
Shirley was a special lady! I always admired and respected Shirley and she handled this disease as a trooper. I will cherish our special conversations of the past months and all the worlds troubles we solved. As Shirley would say 'golly pete' that's what I told him.
