I was so shocked just found out Gwen passed away I went to school with her at Liberty High School very nice person didn't get to see her too often her and I are just a couple of months apart in age so sorry for your loss

Dear Jimmy and Family: This just came to my attention. So sorry to miss her service. Gwen was always so helpful in dealings at the bank, especially with my elderly mother. Jimmy, Jamie and Courtney, Gwen was the most inspirational, happy, giving, Christian person that I've ever known. We got to know each other first through the bank where she helped us and my Mom through many financial situations and then when Allen and Courtney played soccer together. When I was diagnosed with Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma, she was one of my biggest fans and prayer warriors. She inspired me every day on Facebook. Then when she was diagnosed, I tried to do the same for her. We lifted each other up. I have prayed for her every day. Her passing hit me very hard as I have walked almost the same cancer walk. Clearly it was God's plan to take her home where she will never be sick again and will be in glory with Jesus and her family gone before her. I will see her again some day and you will too. Until then we have to remember her every day and take great comfort in knowing where she is and the huge impact that she made on so many people. God bless you all.

I am so sad to hear of Gwen's passing. I went to Nicaragua with her multiple times. She was one of the kindest and Godliest women that I have ever met. She truly was the Proverbs 31 woman. I know that she is with Jesus now and not in any pain. Her testimony in the most difficult times will not be forgotten. Until we meet again.

I join many others who are expressing their love for beautiful Gwen, their sorrows at her passing and our thanksgiving for her new life with her beloved Lord Jesus. I’ve known and admired her for a long time. She and I became friends at Union/Stellar One/Bedford Federal when she would handle international bank transfers for my African ministry, Rwandan Hugs. She would share her passion for her mission work in Nicaragua and we’d encourage each other. Gwen loved her Lord, her family, her mission work and her friends. Gwen and I shared a birthday, same day and same year. We found that out the year before she retired. She was always so personable and friendly. Jimmy and family, Gwen is in a much better place than we are. She is pain free and is walking with our Lord and savior. Gwen told me when she first got sick, that what path God took her down, she would accept it. She was loved by so many people. I cherish the time that Gwen and I had together. She was a true friend.
