Darden May was one of my Papa's closest and dearest friends. Darden was like family without actually being family. He was like another grandfather to me. He helped teach me to hunt. Today I'm the president of Meadow Creek Hunt Club and get to enjoy it because of people like my papa and Darden. I'm sad to see him go, but happy my papa and him are reunited in heaven. I wonder what they are doing. Thank you Darden for all the life lessons you taught me, for being a friend. I cherish every moment I was able to spend with you and your legacy will live on.
