Obituary of David Price Hicks, Sr.

David Price Hicks, Sr. of Huddleston passed away on January 20, 2023 at Lynchburg General Hospital surrounded by his family. 

He is survived by his daughters, Tracey Hicks (Ronnie) & Leah Harrison; grandchildren, Nicole (Jason) & Core; great grandchildren, Ryan, Travis & Jaycee; sister, Arlene; special buddies, Chase & Tyler, nieces and nephews as well as his Fire Department family. 

He was preceded in death by his wife Beverley, son Davey, his parents and brothers.

After serving in the U.S Navy, Dave devoted his life to the Virginia Beach Fire Department for 35 years and retired in 1998 as a Captain. He went on to spend his days of retirement playing guitar and traveling. 

He was loved by so many friends & family and will be truly missed.
