Jackie was my next-door neighbor growing up. I got to attend some of her baton and drill team practices and events. She gave baton lessons in her front yard to all the neighborhood kids for 50 cents a lesson. We played in my back yard all the time and played Barbies a lot, too. She was such a wonderful person. I will miss her so much.

Prayers for all the family. A celebration in heaven that Jackie has come home but heartache for the rest of us. I will miss and love you forever.

It is with sadness that I hear of Jackie's passing.
As her Taekwondo instructor I could tell a mountain of stories of her dedication, tenacity, sincerity, and friendship. She stepped in with her typing skills and reduced weeks of backlogged applications at the US Jr Olympic Taekwondo Championships to a day or so, saving our event. On her first black belt team competion in Washington DC, she competed against a national ranked athlete without fear. She was a devout mom supporting Heather & Traci in Taekwondo with Nathan in tow. She taught and ran her Taekwondo program (see photo) at a time there were few women instructors. It was a delight to award her a special Taekwondo award at Liberty University Taekwondo Club a few months back in 2021 (photo attached).
Her contribution to Taekwondo is the many students and friends her life touched in such a positive way. She will be missed as her genuine attitude, sincere modesty, and friendly smile showed her heart.
To the family, especially Traci, Heather and Nathan, thank you for sharing Jackie (your mom) with our Taekwondo Family. I pray God allows her rest in his might arms.
Kind Regards,
Grandmaster Robert K Fujimura

Very sad to learn of Jackie’s passing. I have fond memories of her in my class at Center Junior High in my early years of teaching. Condolences to Don and the rest of the family.

Q: What was Jacquelyn really good at?
A: As the Lead Majorette Jackie was always front and center for the High School Marching Mustangs during football games and parades. Here is a photo of Sept 22, 1974 at the Browns game in Cleveland, Ohio.
