I was sad to learn of Sam's passing and your loss. We were friend at Norfolk Christian High School and double dated a couple of times. He could drive before I was licensed to drive, so he had the wheels. His humor was appreciated both on the dates and afterwards as we reviewed our suave conduct (not). I'm not surprised that he went into law enforcement as a profession - he had a great values & character to serve and protect the public. may you find comfort in the memory of his life well lived.

I was shocked and deeply saddened to hear of Sammy’s passing. Sammy was an awesome guy and someone I considered a good friend. Sammy had the expertise and patience to train an old man like me to be a certified diver and for that I will be forever grateful. Rest in peace and love in the Lords hands. You will definitely be missed.

Sammy was a Patriot's Patriot! He was a Blue Knight that Rode With Pride. A Sons of Confederate Veterans that honored his ancestors and our Southern Heritage anywhere he rode. I am very glad I got to know him the short time we had together. He left this world doing what he loved most, riding his motorcycle. Ride forever on... Brother!

Sammy and his brother Wayne were my second cousins. However our ages were close, so we were more like brothers. Sammy always had a helping attitude and he loved to ride his motorcycle. He encouraged me to keep riding and reached out to me often for trips. I miss you so much but one day we will reunite and have a love we cannot comprehend here on earth. Enjoy your new home.
