At Staunton River High School, in my senior year 1969-1970 I worked for one period in the office. Mrs Craghead was a caring and patient mentor. I never forgot her; what a great lady!

Being a teacher in a school with Faye as your principal was always an adventure. Her imagination and creativity in creating programs to strengthen students' learning kept us on our toes. She made it fun and you always knew she appreciated your efforts. My sympathy goes to the family for your loss of such a positive and loving wife, mother, sister, and grandmother.

Faye was a special, loving person. I remember her even before she joined the family. She was beautiful, kind, and funny. I love this photo of her. I regret not being able to attend as I am recovering from Covid. I send my love, deep sympathy, and prayers for comfort. May your memories of her before her illness bring you peace and joy.

Far and away my favorite middle school teacher. A beautiful and caring woman, with a loving family. Although I moved from Moneta decades ago, I have many fond memories of Faye, Jim, Jeff and Courtney. The entire Conner family sends our love during this difficult time. Rest in the Peace that she is now resting with HIM.

I remember those contagious smiles and quick humor.
One that was quickly welcomed in the gathering and so easily loved by her fellow church members.
I am so very happy for her knowing that she's been set free indeed! Yet, equally saddened for her family and friends that, at least for the moment, are left behind.
