After years of caring for members of her family, Lou came to work at an assisted living facility where our "Mom" had come come to live as her alzheimer's and blindness progressed.
"Mom" was not a people person but with Lou, she was different. Lou treated her with love and respect and Mom responded. Lou became family.
Mom passed away, Lou changed jobs, but we saw each other when we could and there were cards. Thank you Lou and Lou's family for sharing her with us.

May Louvenia Elizabeth's soul forever rest in peace. Her amicable nature from the time we started high school in 1960 onward shone bright. Indeed, she was a special friend to many during those formative years. May her memory bring comfort during this sorrowful period and let prayers lift up the grieving family as they navigate their loss.
