Obituary of Louvenia Elizabeth Kasey Nellums

Louvenia Elizabeth Kasey Nellums, 77 of  Chesterfield, VA passed away Sunday, May 26, 2024.  She was born on Monday, March 10, 1947  to the late Irving Kasey and Annie Bates Kasey, her sons, Troy Nellums, her brothers, Irving and Dennis Kasey and a cousin, Robert Kasey. 

She graduated from Susie B. Gibson High School in 1965.  She was at the Elks National Home, WT Grant, nursing homes, Bob Evans, MCV/VCU, Hoover and Strong, JC Penney and Health Risk Partners (medical coding).  She collected Coca Cola and Betty Boop items.  Louvenia joined Oakmulgee Baptist Church at an early age. 

She leaves to cherish her memory sisters, Bessie Kasey Johnson (Rudolph), Eva Roberta Kasey, Mary Eileen Skinner (David Parker, Jr.), Julia M. Kasey and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. 

A memorial service will be held at 2 PM on Friday, June 14, 2024 at Updike Funeral Chapel, Bedford.
