Hayes was one of my best friends since we were kids. He came from a great family and continued that legacy with a wonderful family of his own. He loved life, music, his friends, and, of course, the New York Yankees. We shared many memorable times together and I loved Hayes like a brother. He will be missed but never forgotten.

Sincere sympathy and condolences to Hayes Family. We were co-workers at Archer Creek Foundry. Had a great conversation with him at the Archer Creek Reunion Three weeks ago! I had not seen him since the Foundry closed and it was so good to see him again! RIP Hayes.

Sue, Mark and Michael, I just wanted to share how much Hayes meant to us. He is a valued neighbor. I will forever miss talking with Hayes at the street. We would be outside and see each other and be drawn to the road to discuss solving the many world problems being experienced. Our most enjoyable conversations were our love for sports. Tennessee and Virginia sports were always in our talks. I will surely miss that but will always be thankful for his friendship. Teresa wants you to know how much she appreciates how Hayes was always there anytime we needed him to be. Thank you Hayes for being our lifetime friend. We look forward to the reunion!
