Doshie Aultice Martin, 87 of Raleigh, NC and formerly of Huddleston, passed away Monday, August 12, 2013. She was born on Wednesday, November 4, 1925 in Lynchburg, a daughter of the late Clarence Aultice and Louvenia Hurt Aultice. She was also preceded in death by husband, Oliver Vernon Martin. She was retired from Burlington Industries. Surviving are her daughters, Sandra M. Song & husband, Mike of Raleigh, NC, Lana M. Beverly & husband, Samuel of Gladys, Olga M. Mason & husband, Addison of Evington; a sister, Lindy Collins of Lynchburg; a brother, Frank Aultice of Lynchburg, as well as seven grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, August 14, 2013 at 3:00 pm at Huddleston Church of God of Prophecy with Rev. Wayne Murphy officiating. Interment will follow in Huddleston Church of God of Prophecy Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday, August 14, 2013 from 1 PM until the time of the service at the church. Arrangements are being handled by Updike Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Bedford.
