Joyce, Teresa & family
It seems like only yesterday that Joe, Dot and I got out our axe and went off to find the yearly cedar Christmas tree. We would walk for literly miles some years to find what we thought was the perfect tree for Christmas. Joe would always take our 22 rifle to shoot down missle toe from the oak tree if we found any. We never went back home without a tree.
I also remember those times when Mama & Papa would go to Oral Robert's Crusades and leave Joe, Dot & I. Joe was always left to be in charge of us. Of course we would always end up in a fight when Joe always wanted Dot & I to push him on our homemade wheel barrow. We also made homemade cider by chewing apple and spitting it in a quart jar.
How can I ever forget playing baseball with Joe at Montvale High. We were playing Big Island and Joe came to bat in last inning with bases loaded and he hit a monstrous grand slam to win the game.
You were a special brother Joe. Joyce & family we love you so much.

This isn't good bye, one day we will see you again! It hurt when you left and my heart is sad but I know you are in no more pain. My memories of you I will never forget.... the times you use to sit and color with me as a little girl, to coming to Lynchburg and helping me down the steps in my front yard when I came home from the hospital with April. You will be forever loved and missed!! Now go run with all the monkey's !!!
Love, Cynthia
