Dad I miss you so much already. I've found myself calling your cell phone just to hear your voice. I'm trying hard to be strong for everyone and myself, but having a tough time. I hope I made you proud of me. I always seemed to look for your approval. Our last hours together were probably the hardest of my life. I feel better knowing that you are no longer in pain. I saw the tear in the corner of your eye when you took your last breathe, I feel that was probably from laying goodbye to us and hello to God and Jesus. I wish I had made a better effort to spend more time with you over the years. I'm sorry for that Dad. I did enjoy our talk almost daily especially on my way to the firehouse and hospital to work. I never missed a chance to say I love you though. Dad, besides Sally, you were my best friend. I will miss you greatly until we are together again in heaven. I love you Dad. Todd

Jesse, my brother, my friend, and my brother-in-Christ! I have so many good memories of you and I growing up! I remember what a "sucker" you were for girls crying. I knew very early in life, all I had to do was squeeze out a tear....and I had you!! LOL I could talk you into anything. I remember being "partners in crime" as far as Mom and Dad were concerned. I remember the most when I first started dating and Mom and Dad insisted on you accompanying me and my date. You and I plotted that we would drop you off at a friends house, and return to get you before we went home! LOL Oh my "bub", (a name I called you as long as I didn't call you that around your friends) ,I honestly could write a book on all our shenanigans as children growing up together. I just want you to know that I am happy and full of joy that you are pain free and with Jesus and Sheba, Mom, and Dad, but I will miss you here! To Mavis and family,Jesse touched our life in a very special way.The beautiful testimony he always expressed of his life and his ever present witness for the Lord is something we will never forget.His love for gospel music and his kind words of how the music blessed him was also a great joy to be a part of.We can't help but think that now he is making requests and singing in God's heavenly choir,a choir he so longed to be a part of.
